Chevys Fresh Mex®

Chevys Fresh Mex, the 173-unit Mexican restaurant chain, hired Duke Marketing in 2000, to manage a test concept store to try their New Generation of Fresh Mex.

Duke Marketing managed the test store public relations, advertising and created new messaging. We accomplished news placements on the front page of the daily newspaper, Business section, and local TV did an entire 47-minute segment live on their morning news show.

handles Chevys corporate communications, PR and media relations nationally. In 2002, Duke Marketing landed over 150 feature stories in Restaurant News, Restaurant Business, Restaurant & Institutions, Chain Leader, Restaurant Hospitality, SF Chronicle, NBC, CBS, and over 100 other news stories and mentions in the press. In 2003, Duke Marketing has continued the momentum with over 200 feature stories, interviews and mentions across the country.

Other public relations activites include: Chevys crisis management, investor relations, on-air promotional activities for Cinco de Mayo, brunch introduction and other new menu items.
