RESTAURANT MARKETING MAGAZINE DEBUTS

New Restaurant Industry Marketing Resource to
Aid Restaurant Operators with Solutions and Strategies to
Drive Sales and Generate Awareness

San Rafael, Calif. – October 20, 2010:  Duke Marketing Publishing™, has announced the debut of Restaurant Marketing Magazine™”, an online quarterly restaurant industry publication to provide restaurant owners and operators, chef-rateurs™(chefs who operate a restaurant), franchisees and marketing executives from the restaurant industry with timely solutions and strategies for marketing restaurants today.  The premiere edition is available as a complimentary download at www.dukemarketing.com home page, and future editions are available to purchase for $36 annually at www.marketing-cookbook.com/order.

Restaurant Marketing Magazine will offer limited advertising and currently is distributed to over 3,000 leaders in the restaurant industry. A portion of profits will be donated to the Restaurant Marketing Scholarship Fund set up by the publisher to encourage and educate the next generation of restaurant marketing and public relations professionals in the restaurant industry. The scholarships will be given out annually and will be announced at an annual event.  The second issue will debut January 2011.

Restaurant Marketing Magazine will be a quarterly online timely resource for restaurant executives of all types of restaurants, including fine dining to food service at retail, with stories about their own challenges, successes and behind-the-scenes look at how restaurant brands are made. Some strategic articles and some fun how-to articles will provide both senior level and management level readers with valuable content.  The Faces & Places section of each issue will offer photos and social news exclusively for and about restaurant marketing professionals.

Duke Marketing Publishing successfully published “Four Star Restaurant Marketing Cookbook—Recipes for Restaurateurs”, a 300 page marketing manual with easy-to-read and execute marketing tactics in late 2008.  “We realized marketing in the restaurant industry came much later than when the industry first began,” says Duke.  “After several unsuccessful pitches to publishers about the new Restaurant Marketing Magazine, Duke Publishing decided to publish the new magazine for the industry instead of waiting.  “With today’s tough operating climate for restaurants, we knew they needed to get some information about what’s working and what to do to generate sales now,” Duke exclaimed.  “Our hope with Restaurant Marketing Magazine is to educate, entertain and provide ideas and case studies from successful restaurant brands and those companies and products involved in the restaurant and food industry to solve problems and provide insight to our readers,” says Duke.  “Eventually we will have a Restaurant Marketing Magazine website and other resources for restaurant marketers online,” says Duke.
