FIVE GUYS BURGERS AND FRIES FOR MARKETING DUTIES

- May 9, 2005 - Duke Marketing, an Integrated Marketing
Communications firm, announced today it has been hired by Five Guys
Burgers and Fries, the 50+ unit, Lorton, Virginia based burger chain.
The Five Guys chain has retained Duke Marketing to provide marketing,
public relations and local store marketing consulting.
"With our goal to
have 200 stores open by the end of the year, we knew we needed to
have Duke Marketing work with us to ramp up and build our brand
in our new markets," Jerry Murrell, CEO and founder, Five Guys,
Inc.
Jerry Murrell opened
his first Five Guys Burgers and Fries in 1986. He didn't plan on
growing such a large chain when he started Five Guys 18 years ago.
He just wanted to make large homemade burgers like the ones he ate
in college. Today, more than 45 licensees have signed up to operate
more than 300 restaurants across the U.S.

Burgers has gained an incredible cult following in their heritage
market, now our goal will be to get that same cult following in
