DUKE MARKETING REVEALS TEN RESTAURANT MARKETING TRENDS for 2011

San Rafael, Calif. – March 2011 – Duke Marketing LLC®, a California-based full service marketing company specializing in marketing communications for multi-location and franchise organizations, has released ten 2011 Restaurant Marketing Trends to provide thought leadership for restaurant operators and marketers to consider in the coming months. Duke Marketing has revealed ten Restaurant Marketing Trends including “Surprising guests”, “Pursuing the social media consumer”, and “Responsible marketing” along with several other viewpoints not to be overlooked by restaurant marketers in the year ahead.  Duke’s 2011 Restaurant Marketing Trends provides some “how-to” such as the “Clutter test” for restaurant brands to stand out and which day parts and revenue channels for restaurant operators and marketers to keep in mind. 

According to Duke Marketing chief executive Linda Duke, “Numerous restaurant operators ask me what I think the New Year will bring, so this year I decided to publish a list of ten trends and hope to provide some guidance in today’s highly competitive and difficult operating environment.” 

Another top trend Duke forecasts for 2011 is “Fast Casual is the name of the game”.  As one of the founding board members of the National Restaurant Association’s Fast Casual Industry Council (FCIC), Linda Duke provides leadership to the fastest growing segment of the restaurant industry and encourages operators to watch Fast Casual brands closely. 

Linda Duke is a nationally recognized restaurant marketing expert, motivational speaker, educator and published author of “Four Star Restaurant Marketing Cookbook—Recipes for Restaurateurs”.  She speaks frequently at national foodservice industry and client conferences, and will be moderating a marketing panel of restaurant executives at the 2011 National Restaurant Association’s annual restaurant show at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL, Saturday May, 21st, 2011 at Noon.
